Keratin Complex Hair Care Treatment
The Keratin Complex treatment will take approximately two hours depending upon hair length and texture. It works on all hair types and can be used on chemically and colour treated hair.
Current hair revitalizing and treatment systems involve harsh chemicals such as oxidizing agents. Current treatments do not have a technology to trap these bad effluents during ironing so they saturate the hair with these bad chemicals so that some are trapped during treatment!
Unlike Copomon technology other hair treatments that exist in the market today use a high concentration of formaldehyde. Their idea is that the reagents will polymerise upon heating the hair with a hot iron and because there is an excess some will definitely seal into the hair. The excess however escapes into the environment.
Keratin Complex Hair Care Conditioner
Copomon Hair Treatment is different. Instead of hoping that the chemicals needed will be sealed in because there is excess the Copomon treatment on the other hand uses a specially formulated set of reactants that exactly polymerise to seal the keratin into the hair with NO EXCESS chemicals released into the air.
Keratin Complex Hair Therapy depends on re-organizing these keratin bonds to achieve smoothness and straightness in the hair.
The keratin protein complex is carried as a payload in an emulsion of water, silicones and very specialised fluids with a small fraction of aldehydes which also act as fragrances and stabilizers. The payload of keratin complex is first treated and bonded with a special oxidiser to prepare for intense polymerisation with keratin structures.
Special Oxidisers act on the hair sulphur groups to replenish the hair with keratin. In other formulations that exist out there lots of formaldehyde is used as a film former very much like wood glue. After a while, this destroys the hair and the excess is released during ironing.
In the KCST’s formulation, the keratin structure is specially modified to form a film without the need for excessive amounts of aldehyde agents.
Professional Hair Care
The presence of aldehydes in the KCST solution is due to interstitial reactions that encapsulate and break up cyclic aldehydes (the perfumery) into linear aldehydes, one of which is aldehydes. The process is as follows: When oxygen hits the solution it starts to polymerise forming long chain molecules that bond to sulphur groups of keratin molecules.
During the Keratin Complex hair treatment the emulsion of the ingredients is evenly coated on all the hair shafts. Then the emulsion is allowed to saturate the hair shaft for about 10 to 20 minutes.
During this process the film reactions of the aldehydes R-CHO groups with sulphur groups on the proteins of the hair shaft occur. These reactions create slow polymerisation bonds catalyzed by heat and oxygen that become encased in a layer of special blends of fluids and thus the reactants are prevented from contaminating the environment with effluents.
As polymerisation occurs, the oxygenated specialized keratin proteins form a super-strong protective film around the hair shaft that is ionic in character. The reagents are not exposed to the environment of the stylist.
Thus, the complex reagents do not need to be exposed to the atmosphere for their reaction to occur. The heat is first absorbed by the specialized fluids and thus allows them to evaporate leaving the reactants sealed in an even and uniform film of keratinous compounds.
The hair stylist performing the treatment of the hair will not be affected by the evaporation of aldehydes or sulphurous fumes, leaving the hair well protected from the environment. Excess treatment fluids remain sealed on the hair as conditioning fluids that impart shine and uniformity to the hair shaft.
This formulation is completely safe. The formulation has no effluent aldehydes such as Formaldehyde that will affect the operators of the Clients. Formaldehyde is a very reactive gas and CANNOT hide. If it is effluenting (emitting noxious odours) the hot iron process the operator will sense it. No such effect is present and observed with the KCST formulation.
